The 52nd UPU International Letter Writing Contest (2023) is organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) with the theme "Imagine yourself as a superhero with a mission to make every road in the world safe." Safer for children. Please write a letter to someone to talk about the supernatural power that will help you complete your mission."

The 2023 UPU International Letter Writing Contest has attracted the participation of thousands of students across Vietnam. They have created inspiring and meaningful letters, showing their writing talents and awareness of the issue of road safety for children. They have chosen to transform into many famous superhero characters found in movies, books, myths, etc. Some of them created their own superheroes, with unique personalities and actions.
For many of them, their superhero is the teacher, the teacher in charge or the traffic police, who do the work of regulating and ensuring traffic order and safety every day. The solutions they came up with were also very diverse: Eliminate degraded roads, install signs and barriers, and prevent traffic safety violations such as drinking alcohol, racing, and reckless speeding, improve roads to school for students in mountainous and rural areas, reminding to wear helmets, learning and understanding the Traffic Safety Law, inventing safe means of transport for children, encouraging the use of public transportation, designing safety sensors on vehicles, etc.
Their letters have sent an important message: Road safety is the right and responsibility of each person. We not only have to protect ourselves but also care about the safety of others, especially children. We also have to have a sense of compliance with the regulations and laws on road safety, as not to cause regrettable accidents. We also have to have a spirit of creativity and cooperation to solve the problems related to road safety. We also have to have love and share with those who have difficulty moving.
